The Vermeiren V-Drive HD Power Assist System extends the range of motion of your manual bariatric wheelchair. Help the companion to push the wheelchair. To climb slopes or just for a walk in the fresh air… two perfect situations to use the Vermeiren V-Drive HD auxiliary drive. With the intuitive control of the V-Drive, you can use your wheelchair every day in complete comfort.
The Vermeiren V-Drive HD electric assistance system allows you a max. up to 200 kg, incl. Wheelchair.
Mounting
The control unit can be attached to the left or right of the backrest, without the use of tools. For transport (eg in a car) the V-Drive can be effortlessly detached from the wheelchair. Remove the separate battery pack, remove the drive unit from the wheelchair, and you're done. If you do not want to use the V-Drive, you can lift the drive unit off the ground and hang it on one of the handles: this allows you to manually operate the wheelchair again.
