iTrion

iTrion is a motorised wheelchair for attendants, specially designed with the carer in mind, as well as the user.

iTrion from the manufacturer Total Care Europe is a light and compact chair, available in two seat widths, which is equipped with two powerful 350W motors each.

Thanks to the presence of these motors, the chair can reach a maximum speed of 6km/h and overcome a maximum slope of 10º.

The autonomy that the iTrion electric chair can reach is about 15km with a 10Ah battery or about 30km if the optional 10Ah battery is added.

Itrion: designed for the carer

The specificity of this chair is that it is designed and conceived primarily for the carer. The handle has a Joystick with an intelligent sensor that recognises the presence of the hand and activates the attendant motor. Its intelligent sensor system detects the moment when the carer puts his hand on the chair and is automatically activated so that the attendant can move the chair without any effort. Thanks to the presence of this sensor, the chair can be moved without any effort. The "tech assist mobility" system is unique on the market and is integrated into the chair without any additional element.

It stands out for its lightness, which makes it easy to handle, and for its folding capacity, which makes it easy to transport in the trunk of a car. The motor for the passenger is integrated into the rear wheels, so, unlike the rest, the chair does not require subsequent adaptations, coming fully equipped as standard.

Two seat width measurements

As indicated above, the electric chair with a passenger motor is compact in size and light in weight. It is available in two seat width measurements: 42cm and 45cm. The seat has a height from the ground of 52cm.

iTrion, a lightweight chair

One of the strengths of the iTrion is its weight, thanks to the aluminum chassis, it weighs only 19.5kg (without battery). With one battery the weight is 21kg while with two batteries it reaches a total weight of 22.5kg. It stands out for its lightness, which makes it easy to handle, and for its folding capacity, which makes it easy to transport in the trunk of a car.

The iTrion chair with a motor for a companion weighs only 19.5 kg (without battery) while, in general, the rest of the motors for a companion require installation and anchors that make the chair able to exceed 30 kg. On the other hand, being integrated into the iTrion chair allows it to be folded. Most of the motors for companions will prevent the chair from folding or it is necessary to remove them in order to fold the chair.

This is a chair designed for people who move a lot, because they travel or because they often travel by car. The chair fits perfectly in the trunk of the car once folded and measures 32 * 75 * 75 cm (width * length * height).

Wheels and braking system

The four wheels are solid, the front ones measure 19cm in diameter while the rear ones measure 24cm; they are 5cm and 7cm wide respectively.

This electric motor chair is equipped with a double braking system, it has electromagnetic brakes and also brakes with a manual locking system. Another element that improves the safety of this product is the presence of anti-tilt wheels that are adjustable in height.

In the event that the user also wants to be able to operate the chair independently, apart from the accompanying motor that moves the chair, there is a front Joystick placed on the armrest. This is the iTrion Drive model.

Battery

The iTrion chair is equipped with 10Ah batteries as standard, with an easy-to-remove system. As an option, you can add a second battery for greater autonomy.

2 Models available

There are two models: the iTrion chair, which only has the rear joystick, and the iTrion Drive chair, which comes standard with both the front and rear joystick. The latter can be used both as an electric wheelchair and as a motorized wheelchair thanks to the rear control.
